I learnt to swim at a young age and joined my local club, Rushmoor Royals, in Hampshire, when I was 7. I quickly fell in love with the sport, working my way up through the squads, reaching the National Championships.
I started pool helping when I was 14, and loved sharing my passion for swimming to the children I was working with. This led me to get my Level 1 and Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualifications and I have now been teaching for 5 years. In 2018, I also completed the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. I really enjoy seeing children’s confidence grow throughout each lesson, seeing them learn and improve on a skill that’s so important, all whilst having fun.
