About Olivia
My swimming journey began at the age of 3 and joined my local swimming club aged 7, I swam for them up until the age of 18. I have competed at County and Regional Level and I love being in the water and surrounded by the water. In my spare time I can also be found on the beach body boarding in and out of the sea. I currently study at university alongside teaching for a degree within the sport industry and am a member of the university swimming team.

Teaching Journey
I began volunteering for the learn to swim part of my club at age 15, I enjoyed this very much which led me onto completing my Level 1 award in swimming teaching. I then completed my Level 2 Swimming Teacher award and National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. I have experience in teaching all age groups from teaching Mum & Baby all the way through to adults.

Olivia`s love for swimming!
When I first began swimming lessons at the age of 3 I was very nervous of the water and used to regularly get upset when attending my swimming lessons. This has shaped my teaching approach to being gentle, friendly fun and patient. I can empathise with any person who may be nervous of the water. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment to allow others to gain water confidence and learn to swim and be safe within the water and also have fun. I can’t wait to meet all at the swimmers at Swimcentral and share my love for the sport!
