WASPS have an outdoor, heated pool with benches on the poolside for parents to watch the lesson.

This pool is only available to pupils attending Weston All Saints Primary School and is not open to the public.

Lesson details

Non-swimmers and beginners
(Learn to Swim ASA programme) 12:1 Young children, usually (but not limited to) year groups 0, 1 & 2. First introduction to swimming. Unable to swim 5m unaided.
 

Intermediate
(Learn to Swim ASA programme) 12:1 Young children, usually (but not limited to) year groups 3 – 6. Unable to swim 10m unaided.

Location details

Facilities
There are buoyancy aids available for children such as kickboards and arm bands, helping swimmers to build up their water confidence. We will also bring along frogs, bricks and toys for the children to play with.

Children will change in their classrooms after school. Please enter the pool through the gate to the left and ensure it is closed behind you. Do not permit children to enter the pool area unless a member of staff is present.

Pool details
The pool is between 27-29°c. It is 15m long and 1.2 m deep.
Parking
  • There are no parking spaces available for parents on the school site
  • Please make arrangements for going home when the club finishes. On no account must a child decide for him/herself to go home or wait outside the school gates alone
