Swimming Teacher (ASA Level 2 or STA equivalent)

PART TIME

RATE: £15 – £20 an hour (including holiday pay)

Are you a lively and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher? Want to work with a fun and vibrant team that get kids engaged and excited? Interested in furthering your skills and gaining more qualifications?

We are looking for a Swimming Teacher to join our team!!

Here at SwimCentral we are super proud of where we have come in the last decade. We are completely customer focused, providing an environment where swimmers of all ages and abilities can come and build on their swimming skills. What we do is fun! We play games and we create under-water adventures – whilst underlining this with the principles to improve technique and confidence of future swimmers.

As a Swimming Teacher, we will support your development!! We will put you through CPD Swimming Teacher courses to help you in boosting your skills. You will get monthly training (and cake!) in emergency first aid and lifeguarding – we will help you to achieve lifeguard qualifications if you don’t have them already AND you’ll also get a special, cosy uniform to keep you warm if you ever need to teach in the water!

So what do we need from you as a Swimming Teacher?

  • Level 2 ASA Swimming Teacher Qualification (or STA equivalent)
  • UK lifeguard qualification OR be interested in to achieve the NPLQ after you are hired
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Proactive in dealing with parents and any enquiries
  • Drivers Licence and access to vehicle – we have 3 sites we operate across Bath, so it would be really useful if you can travel

If you are a keen writer and want to earn even more money, we will pay you to write blogs for us and find extra swimming teaching hours if you wish.

We have an incredibly supportive and dedicated team of Swimming Teachers that are really welcoming – that’s how we have grown and made such an impact on our students.
